In an environment the trust chooses: its own data centre or Vidd's sovereign cloud in Norway. Patient data is not sent to external AI or cloud services. Who is involved in operations depends on the delivery model, and is set out in the documentation and the agreement. The security page describes the data processing in more detail.
Yes, in the operating model where Vidd runs in our sovereign cloud in Norway — traffic between the trust and Vidd then runs over Norsk Helsenett. If you run Vidd in your own data centre, traffic stays on your own network. The record system connects to Vidd over Norsk Helsenett or a local network, depending on the model you choose.
