AI that frees up time in municipal services
Vidd helps employees document conversations, prepare drafts and find relevant information in existing documentation. The platform is built for work with sensitive information and can be adapted to the municipality's systems and needs.

Where this applies in the municipality
The work looks different from service to service, but the pattern is the same: conversations that have to be written down, assessments that have to be justified, and history that has to be found again. Templates are set up where they are needed.
Out-of-hours and general practice
Consultations documented as they happen, often under time pressure and with many patients in a single shift.
Nursing homes and home care
Visits and observations to be recorded the same day, and care plans built on what has been noted over time.
Mental health and addiction
Long conversations that become notes, and pathways running over years and several clinicians.
Child and school health services
Consultations, home visits and multidisciplinary meetings documented in the service's own templates.
Child welfare
Conversations, observations and assessments that must be justified in writing, and cases to be summarised when someone takes over.
Casework and internal meetings
Minutes and briefing papers built on documents spread over time and across archives.
HR and personnel
Appraisals, follow-up meetings and minutes to be written down and found again later.
What can actually be used in a given service depends on the case systems, the available documentation and the requirements that apply there. We go through that together with you.
AI that makes documentation easier
From conversations and follow-up to new document drafts and an overview of earlier information. Vidd offers several ways to reduce manual documentation work.
Sensitive information demands control
Vidd is built for work with sensitive information and draws on experience from healthcare, where the requirements for data processing and documentation quality are high. Options for operation and integration are assessed against the systems and needs of each municipal service.
Control over data processing
Flexible operating models make it possible to fit data processing to the organisation's requirements.
Fitted to existing systems
Integration options are assessed against the systems, needs and constraints of each service.
Safe adoption starts with the right questions
What Vidd can offer depends on the municipality's needs, existing systems and requirements for data processing. We can show how the platform is built, and share relevant product and security documentation as the conversation continues.
That depends on which systems you use and what they can connect to. Vidd has integrations with record systems in healthcare, and options for other specialist systems are assessed case by case. We go through your systems before we say anything about what is possible.
Vidd is built to process sensitive information in controlled environments. Data is not sent to external AI or cloud services. Which operating model fits, and which data processors may be part of it, is agreed with each organisation and set out in the data processing agreement. The security page describes how the data processing works.
Yes, in the operating model where Vidd runs in our sovereign cloud in Norway — traffic between the municipality and Vidd then runs over Norsk Helsenett. If you run Vidd in your own data centre, traffic stays on the municipality's own network. Which model fits is one of the things settled in the technical review.
Vidd offers Speech to draft, Text to draft and the AI assistant. Which features each municipal service can use depends on needs, the available data, integrations and the relevant requirements.
The employee checks and approves their own drafts. Vidd produces drafts, not finished documents or decisions, and nothing is saved before a person has read it through. The organisation is responsible for sound organisation, information security and compliance with the regulations.
Which work processes are relevant, which specialist systems you use, which operating model fits, and the municipality's own risk and privacy assessments. We provide the product documentation you need for those assessments.
